There are a growing number of friends and readers on this list and a change in season approaching (Spring seemed to buzz by!).
I thought I would reintroduce myself for those who are new or who haven’t stayed up-to-date with my work and offerings.

Your support means so much—thank you for being here.
In an effort to introduce myself - the common themes and threads that seem to weave in and out - here’s a little snapshot of some of the main events in my life the last 20 years or so…
At 22, I earned a BA in Philosophy, World Religions, and International Development on the east coast of Canada, where I was born and raised.
At 23, I studied Musical Theatre in NYC and quickly realized I loved singing but my nervous system wasn’t made for auditioning or performing.
At 24, I moved to South Korea to teach ESL and cherished the experience- country, people and landscape.
At 25, I moved to Australia, became a yoga instructor (with a passion for the philosophy) + married the love of my life.
At 26, I had my first child and started a parenting blog. The very first article I wrote was on the stigma I felt breastfeeding him after the age of one despite my heart telling me it was the right thing for us. Little did I know I would be pregnant or breastfeeding for almost the next decade!
At 27, I discovered Waldorf Education and monetized my parenting blog.

At 28, I had my second child + began studying Waldorf Education.
At 30, I launched an online business selling seasonal Waldorf-inspired eGuides (one of the very first on the digital market in this now saturated niche) and gave birth to my third child.
At 32, I had my fourth child and my husband began his recovery from functional alcoholism. He’s almost ten years sober now. If you’re living through something similar feel free to reach out. You are not alone and feel like you’re carrying the world. I see you.
At 33, We moved from Australia to a hobby farm in Canada tending to sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, turkey and most recently- geese!

At 35, I became a certified Simplicity Parenting Coach + I fell in love with weight training.
At 37, I (finally) completed my Waldorf teacher training + started joyfully leading parent-and-child groups.
At 38, I took a pause and retired my eGuides. Likely sensing the sense of safety and equilibrium after a lot of transitions and hard years and my need to keep practising simplicity and self-care in my own life.

At 40, I rebranded my business and started teaching parents how to care for themselves using Waldorf-inspired wisdom with a focus on rhythm, routine, and ritual.
At 41/42, I launched the GOLDENTIME journal, new online courses, a meal planning membership for my Substack community and opened the doors to my 1:1 coaching practice again.
At 42, I became a certified nutritional coach and fell in love with tea ceremony. I also discovered I have been living on the ASD spectrum, which has helped me make sense of how the last 20 years have unfolded — my sensitivity, my continual quest for deep understanding, my need for structure and rhythm, and the profound sense of purpose I find in sharing what I've learned with others.
What else?
Food is my love language- my go-to gift for those who need support.
My favourite season is Autumn, followed by Spring. So much hope and inspiration can be found in transitional times
My favourite books are all the same theme: The Dance of the Dissident Daughter by Sue Monk Kidd, The Red Tent by Anita Diamant and The Passion of Mary Magdalen by Elizabeth Cunningham.
In another life, I imagine I was a midwife.
As I continue learning and exploring these themes and topics with you on homekeeping, simplicity parenting, seasonal living and deep self-care for the mother archetype, I’d love to hear from you:
I’m planning an AMA (Ask Me Anything) episode on the podcast, so if there’s a question or topic you’d like me to dive into, please hit the button below (or reply to this email) and ask away. Paid subscribers' questions will be prioritized as a small way to show my gratitude for your support.
Thank you for being a part of this community whether you just arrived or have been here for a while. I’m continually grateful that I get to work from home and do what I love, thanks to the support of readers like you.
